입과손스튜디오는 오랜 기간 판소리 창작 작업을 함께해 온 소리꾼과 고수가 모인 작업공동체이다.
소리꾼 이승희, 김소진과 고수 김홍식, 이향하, 신승태가 함께한다. 입과손은 판소리라는 연희양식이 가지고 있는 여러 가지 가능성을 다양한 각도에서 실험한다.
판소리가 가지고 있는 예술적 요소들을 선택적으로 확장, 또는 변형하는 작업과 연구를 통해 ‘판소리 창작의 무한한 가능성’을 확인하는 한편 ‘판소리란 무엇인가’를 끊임없이 묻고 그에 대해 보다 깊고 폭넓게 고민해보려한다.
우리가 생각하는 ‘판소리 창작’은 만들어진 작품으로서의 결과물 뿐 아니라 그것을 만드는 준비부터 창작 과정 전반을 포함하는 말이다.
따라서 우리는 기존에 판소리 창작 방식에 갇히지 않고 계속해서 새로운 작업방식을 연구하고 기록해 나갈 것이다.

a collective of Pansori singers and drummers who dedicated to creating pansori. The name ‘Ipkoason’ means ‘Mouth of singer and Hand of drummer’. A goal is expanding possibilities of creating and defining pansori. Its persistent work has made various experiments with performing forms and elements of pansori to transform and broaden. ‘Pansori Making’ of MNHstudio contains all processes from the preparation to the final performance. Its research will be the ongoing pursuit of creating a new process without following the conventional method.

The work of MNHstudio(Ip Koa Son) contains various music project based on Pansori. Panrori is a genre led by musical storytelling of a Sorikkun and a Gosu. Creative pansori vocal style and rhythm composition is the most specialized point of their work. 

Besides the team, each member of MNHstudio pursued a solo career in various performance genre. Seungtae Shin, as a member of band SSing SSing, he have met fans from all over the world through Youtube NPR tiny desk concert. Seunghee Lee performed as a voice performer in many pieces of Ahn Eun Me Company which is world-widely known dance company in korea. Also, Hyangha Lee and Hongsik Kim have participated in the most representative pansori piece as a rhythm composer and toured all the world. Sojin Kim is one of the best new Korean traditional Pansori artists.
